Watts

Watts produce a number of special compound tires to meet specific user requirements related to their operating environments. The performance characteristics of these tires are the same as their standard compound counterparts offering good traction, low rolling resistance, low heat build up, optimum tread life and full load carrying capacity.

Non Marking

Non Marking tires are perfect for use in environments where a "clean" tire is required such as the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Specialist tread and sidewall compounds eliminate black driving marks and residue caused by tire wear whilst also delivering excellent performance in keeping with the entire Watts range.

Electrically Conducting

These tires are used in operating environments where there is a significant threat posed by fire or explosion such as munitions stores, firework factories or petrochemical storage facilities. It gives an upper limit resistance limit of 500,000 ohms conforming to BS 2050/ISO 1883

Wet Grip

Our market leading Wet Grip tires provide maximum traction in wet or slippery ground conditions such as dock yards, port areas, breweries, abattoirs or outdoor areas during prolonged wet weather.

Heat Resistant

Watts Heat Resistant tires are essential for use where applications will encounter hot materials such as in smelting plants and foundries. These tires are able to withstand temperatures of up to 90 degrees Celsius (194 degrees Fahrenheit). Like all Watts tires, the design and build also lead to reduced heat build up within the tire which helps to extend tire life even in these harsh environments.
