Harsh industrial environments and the increasing trend for high racking/heavy load warehousing has seen a rise in demand for applications capable of bearing heavy loads for sustained periods of time.
To meet these needs Watts have developed Ultrathane, a group of polyurethane elastomers capable of withstanding extreme operating conditions whilst providing high load carrying capabilities.
We produce a huge range of Ultrathane products including press-on-band tires, taper based tires, direct bond tires, pallet/castor wheels and complete wheel units for a wide range of applications.
Watts supply a variety of sizes from 3'' (75mm) to 48'' (1200mm) outside diameter in three grades of shore hardness:
- Standard Range A 92A shore hardness material with excellent dynamics
- Premium UltraLoad Range A 96A hardness material which gives low running temperatures and low rolling coefficients
- Vulkollan Range, a Bayer registered polyurethane with outstanding physical properties, widely used by OE manufacturers.
